Start out with the chain stitch, count crochet stitches, count crochet rows, fasten off, change yarn colors, add ears, eyes, and a mouth, etc., and eventually start the process all over on the next crocheted beanie hat. Yes, that's what I've been spending a lot of time doing this summer.
Toddler Blue Sock Monkey Hat
Each one of these cute hats make me want to smile as I put the finishing touches on it. The colors are so vibrant, the yarn so soft, and the facial expression so unique!
You might ask, "Tracy, why are your talking about crocheted beanie hats when we're currently experiencing a heat wave throughout a large portion of the country?".
That's a good question!
I agree that the weather is hot, and I wouldn't want to wear a hat today, but it won't be long until the weather starts getting cooler again, and stores will begin carrying their winter coats soon. So, I want to be sure to have these adorable hats ready whether you're buying one to match a new coat, go with a new back to school outfit, or getting ready for a photo shoot with your new baby bundle of joy!
